About the event

This is my absolute favorite program! I'm excited to start searching for pond life just as soon as the ice melts (I'm writing this in February looking out the window at a thick blanket of snow.)

Bring your little ones and explore real pond water, plants and critters alongside elders from All Saints Memory Care. (Geared for ages 2 - 6 years, all welcome.)

Come in and explore my puppet and stuffed animal friends with your kids at 9:20. At 9:30, I'll get us started with traditional, oral storytelling. Kids and elders will wiggle, dance, and sing along with me. Then we'll begin searching for life in the pond buckets! Expect snails, mayfly nymphs, damselfly nymphs, midges, backswimmers, water boatmens, and if we're really lucky, a crayfish or a minnow!

Park on the street (parking is ample) and come in the main doors, we'll be straight ahead in the activity room.
