Spring Break Storytelling, Worms, and a Discovery Hike!
Puddles, mud, tracks, and sprouts. Bird calls and rushing water. Trot, laugh, sing - hop, skitter, and pull while Coral tells stories. Then, Vermicompost Discovery (Worms!).

About the event
Get out of the house and explore this spring break! Starting with a Spring Discovery Hike, Storytelling Naturalist Coral Conant Gilles and kids ages 4K - 3rd grade will dive into spring. With a little luck, we'll find puddles, mud, tracks, and sprouts. We'll hear bird calls and rushing water. Then we'll head inside to partake in spring storytelling - trot, laugh, sing - hop, skitter, pull - and Vermicompost Discovery (Worms!).
10:00 Spring Discovery Hike at the Pheasant Branch Conservancy Trailhead next to Common Ground's parking lot.
10:30 - 10:45 Transition Inside - grab coffee and snacks, take off muddy shoes, etc.
10:45 - 11:30 Sprouting Up Spring Storytelling and Vermicompost Discovery (Worms!)
$10 for the first kids, $5 for each additional kid, siblings welcome under 1 is free
Adult supervision required, but feel free to grab a coffee and a book and sit in the corner for a much needed spring *break.*
Please dress for the weather - layers, rain boots, and "muddy buddies" highly recommended.
