Celebrate fall as we were meant to - foraging and processing in community with story guiding our way! Two-part workshop! (Due to limitations of the website's event system, this appears as a weeklong event. It's actually a 2 hour session on October 2nd and a 3 hour session on October 9th!)

Join foraging mentor Andy Gricevich of What Got Gathered and Coral Conant Gilles, Storytelling Naturalist for a two day workshop foraging and processing acorns*.
Saturday, October 2nd, we’ll kick off with a story and some history of acorn uses, forage acorns (and possibly other treats) and begin processing them for flour. (Hoyt Park, 3902 Regent St, Madison WI 53705)
The following week, on Saturday October 9th, we’ll come together in community to continue processing while Coral shares stories - the mind and body in balance of work and rest. Andy and Coral will have a foraged treat or three for us to nibble and taste as we work. At the end of the day everyone will go home with acorn meal to finish processing, as well as suggestions for use (We suggest acorn pancakes!).
