Join Coral Conant Gilles, Storytelling Naturalist, for stories about birds at the new Imagination Center Library in Reindahl Park, Madison. Thank you to Madison Public Library for sponsoring this FREE event!
Coral tells stories in the traditional way of oral storytelling, engaging imagination and integrating one’s own experiences. These stories are full of participation and ways for kids to add their knowledge.
Using the magic of her Nature Wand, Coral will share the stories she hears from the natural world around us. After a few stories, kids can make their own nature wands and use them to listen to the stories around them. When we’ve all finished our wands, we’ll take a wander to catch the stories of more beings - trees, squirrels, clouds, sky, etc - and share them with each other. There is so much nature connection to be had right in the city!
